Tax Assessment Notice


Notice is hereby given that the combined tax and assessment notices have been mailed on May 24, 2022, to all property owners in the Village of Boyle. In accordance with Section 311 of the Municipal Government Act, Revised Statutes of Alberta 2000, Chapter M-26 with amendments in force as of April 21, 2022, all persons are deemed to have received their combined tax and assessment notices as a result of this notice. Taxes are due on or before August 31, 2022.

Any questions regarding your assessment should be directed to the Village Office (780) 689-3643.  If you wish to file a formal assessment appeal, the deadline is August 2, 2022. The new complaint forms must be filled out and sent to the Village Office. A $50.00 deposit fee is required with each appeal.

If you did not receive your tax notice or have any other questions, please contact the Village Office at (780) 689-3643.

The Alberta Government is providing some relief through Property Tax Late Penalty Reimbursement.  If a penalty was incurred before December 15, 2022, they must submit an application by March 15, 2023.  For any penalty after December 15, 2022, the application has to be made within 90 days of the penalty being incurred and it is their decision on reimbursement.
